Our passion at Rideauview is to breed Golden Retrievers that excel in the sports of Obedience, Field and Agility. We are committed to breeding Golden Retrievers that are physically built to thrive at these sports, with a passion to retrieve, a drive to track and the desire to please their master.
I have been involved in the sport of Dog Obedience for some 25 years now and I am extremely proud of the results and accomplishments of my Golden Retrievers. Rebel was the Top Obedience Dog In Canada in 1995, Austin was Top Obedience Dog In Canada in 2001. Austin holds every record for dog Obedience there is and has more points than any other Golden in the GRCC Hall Of Fame. My latest Goldens are Rideau and Bright; Rideau is 6 years old and has already earned 59 HITs, 2 perfect 200 scores and a Grand Master Title; plus last year won the GRCC National Specalty and earned his WC the same weekend. Bright is 3 and has won 11 Hits with Dog World CD and CDX titles. All totaled I have won 327 Hits, 19 perfect scores of 200, 2 Masters Titles and a Grand Master Title. At Rideauview we adhere to the Golden Retriever standard as established by the Golden Retriever Club Of Canada. We are members in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club, the GRCC (Golden Retriever Club Of Canada) and the OVGRC (Ottawa Valley Golden Retriever Club). Our pups come with a 2 year written guarantee, they are registered with the CKC, micro chipped and will be de-wormed and have their first shots by our veterinarian. Our dogs have all their hip, eye and heart clearances and 4 generation pedigree clearances are provided on request. If you are interested in a Rideauview Golden we require that you first fill out a potential buyers application and submit it for approval.
